Robert Alexander Mac DOUGALL
MacDOUGALL, Robert Alexander Peacefully passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Hamilton General Hospital in his 92nd year. He is predeceased by his wife Helen MacDougall (nee Blitzman), of 58 years. A very dear and loving father to Larry (Patricia) and Lynn (Mark). He is survived by a dear brother Ron MacDougall (Maureen). Bob was a navy veteran and worked at Stelco for 40+ years. He was an avid WWII historian and baseball enthusiast. He enjoyed gardening, bowling, camping and was a longtime trustee and member of Delta United Church. He most recently enjoyed the friendships and camaraderie of the breakfast gang at Limeridge Mall. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa St. N., (905-544-1147) on Friday from 7-9 p.m. A service of remembrance will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time. A reception will follow. Donations can be made in his memory to the Delta United Church.
