Robert “Bob” George CHAPPEL
Bob was born in Hamilton on June 28, 1923. He served his country in WWII and was an OPP Constable in the 1950s. Bob passed away peacefully on January 13, 2017 at the Sunnybrook Veterans Centre. Beloved husband of the late Anna Pigott. Loving father of Rob (Wendy). Cherished grandfather of Eliza and Robert. Survived by his sisters Mary and Mabel. Predeceased by his brother Jack and his sisters Shirley and Margaret. Our family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Sunnybrook Veterans Centre for its care and compassion. At Bob’s request, there will be no services, but in his memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated
