ROBERT “BOB” JOHN CLARKE

With his family by his side, Bob passed peacefully away on March 6, 2017, in his 79th year, after a courageous battle with cancer. Bob is survived by his loving wife Sandra and will be dearly missed by his three daughters Julie (John), Susie (Martin) and Mary-Patricia (Paul). Granddad will be lovingly remembered by Emily Grace, Benjamin and Elliott. Remembered fondly by step-sons Craig and Mark (Andrea), step-granddaughter Rebecca and sister-in-law Brenda Gibson of Scotland. Predeceased by his beloved sister Mary Margaret Blouin in 2006. Bob was employed for 39 years with Noranda/Wolverine Copper Industries and spent his many happy retirement years by curling, golfing and travelling the world. Bob’s family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre for their care and compassion during Bob’s illness. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 12th from 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Service will take place on Monday, March 13th at 11 a.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Foundation for lung cancer research or to Harmony Place Support Services which would be greatly appreciated by Bob’s family.
