MITTEN, Rodger Peter Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at the Brantford General Hospital on February 22, 2017 at the age of 77 years. Beloved companion of the late Darlene Silversmith. Loving father of Dwayne “Dago” (Cindy), Kimberly (Glen), Dena (Frank), and Roger (Amy). Dear Papa to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brother of Elizabeth Williams, Winnie Thomas (Ron), Sandra Silversmith (Gary), Peter Mitten (Kathy), and Brenda Mitten. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Predeceased by parents Peter and Theresa (Snow) Mitten and siblings Manuel, Ramon, Lance, and Karen. Rodger was a member of the Ironworkers International Local 736, Hamilton. Resting at his sister Winnie’s home, 3220 5th Line, Six Nations, after 7 p.m. Thursday.
