CUNNINGTON, ROGER ALLAN It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roger on Sunday, July 2, 2017, at the age of 82 at Sunnybrook Hospital. Loving husband of Joan Cunnington (nee Pitts) for 56 wonderful years. Proud father of David Cunnington (Rachael). He is survived by granddaughter Kate Tanaka. He will be fondly remembered by his many friends and business associates. Roger had a passion for woodworking, having learned carpentry at school in England. He expertly restored antique furniture and built tables, chairs, stools and many other items. Roger was a lifelong builder and planner in both the public and private sectors for over 60 years and had an extraordinary reputation for his honesty and integrity. A memorial service will take place at St. Saviour’s Anglican Church, 12 Princess St., Queenston, on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
