PFEIFFER, Rose Theresia (nee SCHMIDT) December 8, 1930 – August 10, 2017 Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Hospital in Newmarket on Thursday, August 10, 2017 in her 87th year surrounded by her loved ones. Loving wife of the late Michael Pfeiffer (1984). Beloved mother of Karl Pfeiffer (Ruth), Lorie Tiffin (Paul) and Heidi Larabee (Rob). Proud Oma of Jenn (Mike), Amy (Steve), Tosha (Brad), Karell (Kevvy), Robby, Kyle (Rebecca) and Becky (Nick). Devoted Ur Oma to Jacob, Owen, Tyler, Sarah, Ava, Katherine, Klara, Layla and Sean. Daughter of the late Nikolaus and Rosina Schmidt. Dear sister of Jack, George and Henry (late Sandy, 1999) and her nephew Danny (Colleen). Deeply missed by extended family and friends, especially her best friend and next-door neighbour Irene. Special thanks to the Palliative Care Team at Southlake Regional Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding, south of Steeles), on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 4 p.m., with visitation from 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Southlake Regional Health Centre – Palliative Care.
