Ross Walter CHAPMAN

December 31, 1941 – May 27, 2017

Passed away peacefully at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre at the age of 75. He is survived by his loving wife Merle Chapman (nee Watson), his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bruce and Liz Watson, niece and nephew Jennifer and Justin Williams, their children Jake and Cole, nephew Jon Watson and Lilian Lukezic, brother-in-law Brian Watson and his spouse Nidia Desousa. Ross was a former graduate from Ryerson who became a writer, editor and proofreader for publications in Toronto. His passion was reading and he had a penchant for most sports, particularly baseball, hockey and basketball. Ross will be missed as a regular in the Yonge-Eglinton community. Ross will be missed for his sharp wit, sense of humour and his laughter. May he rest in peace!

Friends may call at the TRULL “NORTH TORONTO” FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 2704 Yonge St. (5 blocks south of Lawrence Ave.), on Friday, June 2nd from 10 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 11 a.m. A burial to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In memoriam donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation on behalf of the Chapman family.
