ATZMUELLER, Rudolph (Rudy) Passed away peacefully at home on July 11, 2017 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Mary, father to Rudy Jr. (Susan), grandfather to granddaughters Jennifer and Sarah and great-granddaughter Emma. Born in Salzburg, Rudy skied for the Austrian National Team and was a mountain climber. Came to Canada in 1955 and opened Rudy’s Sport Centre and greatly influenced the creation of ski resorts and industry in Ontario. Visitation will be held at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 275 Lesmill Road, on Friday July 14th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice is appreciated.
