RUTH M. ROBERTSON Passed away peacefully at the age of 96 on Christmas Day, 2016 at Arbour Heights Long Term Care Home, Kingston, ON. Predeceased by husband William, parents Walter and Miriam (Sayers) Johnston and sister Eileen Johnston. Ruth was born in England and grew up in Stratford, ON. She moved to Toronto and married William Robertson in 1954. After William’s passing, she resided in Scarborough for many years. She moved to Kingston to be closer to her family in 2013. She is survived by her son, Walter (Mary Louise) of Kingston, ON, granddaughter, Alexandra and her sister Edyth Brouwer of Red Deer, AB. Visitation will be held at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home Scarborough Chapel, 2900 Kingston Rd. (east of St. Clair Ave. E.), on Saturday, January 7th from 10:00 a.m. with a chapel service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Pine Hills Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough, ON.
