SLATER, Ruth (nee Seligman) After a very rich life in the theatre, opera, Temple and community, Ruth passed away peacefully in the early hours of April 9, 2017 in her 90th year. She was well loved and will be sadly missed by sister Jan (Weinstein), daughter Robin, son Jay (Sylvia), grandchildren Nathan, Josse and Sasha, and many other relatives, friends and colleagues. Service has been held in accordance with custom. Donations to honour her life can be made to Temple Anshe Sholom’s Ruth Slater Music Fund.
