Member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 375 and Newmarket Men’s Probus Club. Sam passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband and best friend for over 45 years of the late Patricia Hall (2002). Loving dad of Linda Cross (Mark), Tracey Harris (Steven) and the late John Robson Hall (1961). Proud granddad of Megan and Matthew Cross and James and Jonathan Harris. Sam will be missed by his many friends in Canada and his many relatives and friends in England. A Masonic service for Masonic members will be held at the MARSHALL FUNERAL HOME, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, 10030 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 2 p.m. Visitation in the church 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
