SEYMOUR, Robert Darwin 1936 – 2016 Sadly, Bob passed away in Joseph Brant Hospital of a long illness November 16, 2016. He was predeceased by his son Gerald Darwin (2010), his parents Bill and Theresa of Moose Jaw, SK, sister Meryle of Glentworth, SK and his in-laws Alva and Avin Blakley of Weyburn, SK. He will be fondly remembered by daughter Holly (Bob) Pilz of Barrie, son Jim in Penticton, BC and their mother Gayle in Dundas, ON. Grandchildren Kelsey Seymour of Calgary and Zachary, Joshua and Wyatt Pilz of Barrie. Bob will also be missed by his sister Lois in Moose Jaw, SK, brother-in-law Bill in Glentworth, SK. Sisters-in-law Joan and Dodo (Bill) of Weyburn SK, as well as numerous nieces and nephews spread across western Canada. In the 1950s Bob played hockey in the Saskatchewan Junior A League. He then signed with the Boston Bruins prior to moving on to Ontario Senior A for the Chatham Maroons and the Windsor Bulldogs. Bob had a successful 42 year career with Union Gas, the happiest of which were the years spent in London, ON, where he was loved and supported by many family, friends and colleagues. Bob finished his career with Union Gas in the Hamilton area as Regional Manager. Many thanks to Dr. Grzlow and the hardworking nurses and staff on 6 South for their compassion and commitment.
