BURTON, Sgt. Jack Wilfred – January 10, 1929 – May 10, 2017 Passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital in Jack’s hometown of Lindsay, ON, with his family by his side, May 10, 2017. Survived by his beloved wife Rita and his children Michael (Joy), Susan (Rick) and Kimberley (Brian) and grandchildren Lucas (great-grandson Xavier), Kacey (Michelle) and Clifford (Dana). Fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Lorrainne (James Greensides, dec.) and nieces and nephews. Jack served in the Royal Canadian Air Force, Fort Nelson Base (1947-1952). He proudly served Metropolitan Toronto Police Force (1955-1987). In keeping with Jack’s wishes, cremation will take place. A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be held June 4, 2017, at his home: 53 Madill Crescent, Lindsay, ON K9V 5X3, from 1-4 p.m. Special thanks to Dr. McMillan and nurse Katie.
