SHEARICHARDSEN

SHEA RICHARDSEN With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear sister Shea T. Richardsen (Susan Richardson), aged 68 years, on April 8, 2017. Predeceased by our father David K. Richardson and lovingly missed by her mother June Richardson, siblings Cathy (Bill) Pyatt, David (Fiona) Richardson and Nancy Grenier (Dave Austin). A loving aunt to Matthew (Jennifer) Pyatt, Ben and Alison Grenier and Laura and Alex Richardson. She was always interested in their accomplishments and encouraged them to follow their dreams for a happy life. She will be remembered for her devotion to teaching and learning, her love of children, off beat sense of humour and love of jazz and nature. Over the past years her practice of SGI Nichiren Buddhism gave her great comfort and strength to manage and accept her increasing health challenges. Our family wishes to thank the staff of C3 and D5 wings at Sunnybrook Hospital. Special thanks also to Dr. Margaret Bennett and staff in the Palliative Care Unit, K1C for their compassionate care. There will be a private family gathering to celebrate Shea’s life. If you wish, please consider donations to her favorite charities – Plan Canada and OSPCA, or the Sunnybrook Foundation – Palliative Care. Sweet Dreams
