Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday, August 17th, 2016 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Colin Childs for 64 years. Mother of Susan and Alan. Nana to Rebecca, Amanda, Jordan and Robyn, and Great Nana to Lucius, Gibson, Chase, Brodie and Forest. Sister of Shirley and Wendy and predeceased by her brother Clive. Memorial Service will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, August 24th at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
