BURKE, Shirley Eleanor Passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Burke. Devoted mother of Larry (Marie), Marilyn (Lunn), Terry (Marg), Valerie and the late Gail. Cherished grandmother of Trisha (Patrick), Ali (Stefan), Ken (Sandy), Greg, Krista (Ryan), Ryan (Jenn), Kerri and great-grandmother of Liam, Clarke, Larissa, Madelyn, Kyle, Kimberly, Andrew, Dylan and one great-great-granddaughter Gabriella. Special thanks to Sheila Raven of ParaMed for homecare and to her home away from home, St. Joseph’s Adult Day Programme Group A, where she spent happy times for the past 14 years. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 3 p.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 4 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
