FICK, Shirley Rose (nee HILTON) May 31, 1927 – September 11, 2017 Predeceased by her husband of 64 years Lewis Lloyd Fick. Loving listener to her sons: Gordon (Brenda), Gary (Toni) and Warren (Leah). Proud Grandy and Nana to Laura, Amelia, Kaitlin, Aidan, Rory and Bridget. Great-grandmother to Owen. Shirley’s passions included singing with the Leslie Bell Singers, hosting bridge for the gals in the neighbourhood, giving back with the Women’s Auxiliary at Scarborough General Hospital and sharing the uncountable gardens on Canning Lake with Lew. She will be deeply missed. Warm thanks to all of the caregivers and staff at Retirement Suites by the Lake. Shirley’s final resting place will be with Lew at the Ingoldsby Pioneer Cemetery in Haliburton. Friends and family will be received between 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, September 16th at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, 2900 Kingston Rd.
