SIMPSON, William “Bill” 1927 – 2016 Passed away at Burloak Long Term Care Centre, on August 7, 2016, surrounded by family, at the age of 88. Dear husband of 59 years to Shirley (nee Somerville). Loving father of Robert and Cindy, David and Nancy, Peter and Katie and Gail and Tim Phelan. Cherished grandpa to Emma, Chloe, Carter and Connor. He will be greatly missed by his sister-in-law Margaret and the late Bob Johnston, brother-in-law Ken Somerville and the late Paula Cook and by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents James and Margaret and brothers James and George. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. where a Service of Remembrance will be held at 1:00 p.m. with reception to follow.
