Arthur George SPRING
SPRING, Arthur George July 17, 1919 – July 30, 2016 Passed peacefully at home after a long, full life at the age 97. Survived by his beloved wife of 74 years, Florence; their children Carole (George), Caren (Tom), James (Gail), and Ellen (Bob). Also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and friends Guy and Mary. Predeceased by his siblings Herb, Vi, Ellen, and Frank. Art was a veteran of WWII, R.C.A.F. 168 Heavy Transport Squadron and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 36, Dundas. Special thanks to Dr. Zoe and Dr. Sender, palliative care nurse Mui, PSWs Cathy and Carrie, and the CCAC team who all gave him excellent care. As per Art’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life party is planned for family and friends.
