SIEK, Stanislaw (Stan) Peacefully at Arbour Creek Long Term Care, surrounded by his family on Sunday, August 20, 2017. Beloved husband of Bronislawa (nee Rudzka) for 72 wonderful years. Cherished father of John and his wife Alicja, and Krystyna Makarewicz and her husband Rick. Devoted and proud Dziadziu of Christopher and his fiancé Melissa, Adam and his wife Erica, and Thomas, and great-grandfather “Pra-dziadziu” of Edward “Edziu”. Survived by his sister Jadwiga in Poland. Predeceased by his parents and two brothers. Stanislaw will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and extended family in Poland. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Arbour Creek Long Term Care for the care and kindness shown to Stan and his family. Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME , 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday from 6 – 9 p.m. Rosary Prayers at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Kostka Polish Catholic Church, 8 Saint Ann Street, Hamilton on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at 9 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
