SHAPIRO, Stanley Arnold – February 25, 1943 – Johannesburg, South Africa – July 30, 2016 – Toronto, Ontario Stan Shapiro, retired Teacher/ Vice-Principal for the Toronto District School Board, died suddenly on Saturday, July 30, 2016. He was a treasured mentor, dear friend, and inspiring colleague to many. He was predeceased by his first wife, Brenda, his younger brother, Ashley, and their parents, Sylvia and Kas. He will be lovingly remembered by his ex-wife, good friend, and co-parent, Carol Parker, and his two beloved step-children Amit (Sandra) and Leora Morris. The funeral took place on Monday, August 1st. Shiva 149 South Drive, No. 204, Toronto. Shiva visits daily from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. An evening service will be held on Wednesday only, at 8:00 p.m. Shiva will conclude on Thursday evening, August 4th.
