Stephen George WALLACE
It is with very heavy hearts we announce Steve’s passing at the Markham Stouffville Hospital on July 17, 2016, a beautiful summer morning. Born in Toronto to A. G. “Bud” Wallace and Jean Mitchell on February 27, 1951, Steve was raised in Willowdale, attended Northview Heights Collegiate Institute and Seneca College. His working life was spent in sales, a field for which he was well suited. Steve lived and worked in several cities across Canada and in the US.
Predeceased by his parents, Steve will be much missed by his sister, Dawn Gillespie (Doug), his niece, Shannon Pirrotta (Sonny) and his nephew, Mike Gillespie (Nijah Emery). He will also be missed by his much loved great-nieces, Ava and Emmalee.
Funeral services will be at R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Golding, south of Steeles) on Friday, July 22, 2016. Visitation is from noon to 1:00 p.m. Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The David Suzuki Foundation, War Amps Canada or The Salvation Army.
