February 19, 1945 – July 24, 2016
Passed away peacefully on July 24th, 2016 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Loving husband of Phyllis for over 25 years. Cherished father of David (Tina), Lori, Deanna (Brett), John (Lacy) and Wesley (Lyndsay). A loving Poppa to Kayla, Jesse, Brianna, Jason and Hailey. Also lovingly remembered by all his step grandchildren Shawna, Kaitlyn, Cole, Mackenzie, Parker, Kenadie, Ayden, Sofie, Jesse and Tyler. Will be sadly missed by all his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, July 29th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted to Make-A-Wish Foundation.
