CIUCIURA, SYLVIA Peacefully after a brief illness at the Etobicoke General Hospital on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at the age of 75. Beloved aunt of Rod and Don Henderson. Cherished great aunt to Abigail. Loved sister of the late Ann Henderson (2019) and was also predeceased by her parents, the late Joseph and Mary (nee Draho) Ciuciura.
Sylvia was a long term Director of the Board of Governors at Humber College, Toronto, Treasurer of the Humber Faculty Union for fifteen years, all while still teaching accounting at the College and was actively involved with the Executive of her local OPSEU Union. Sylvia will be lovingly remembered by her family.
Private cremation has taken place under the direction of the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
