TED MITROFF
1954 – 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and untimely passing of a most wonderful man who was loved by all. A most devoted and loving father to Morgan and Tasha. Deeply loved and cherished partner of Sandie Martin (Asha, Andrew and Audra) and family. Ted is the beloved son of John and the late Cathy (May 2016), adored brother to John (Anna), Christine (Curtis) and Dianne (Donnie).
Ted lived his life to the fullest: from his football days at East York Collegiate, to playing basketball representing St. George’s Church, to his years of owning pubs, where everybody knew his name.
In retirement, he filled his life with golf, travel and most important, friends and family. He loved people and people loved him back. He was proud of his Macedonian heritage and will be forever remembered for his leading of Zaiko!
Ted was always the life of every party. His irreplaceable spirit, joie de vivre and ability to tell jokes are second to none! He will be dearly missed by all.
Visitation will be held at the Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre (375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto, east gate entrance) on Monday, August 29th from 6-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, August 30th from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel on Wednesday, August 31st at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
