ENSKAITIS, Teresa Passed away in the morning of Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in the “Durand” area of Queens Garden Long Term Care Residence, in her 100th year. Born in Lithuania, immigrated to Canada after the war in 1948 with her husband Pranas (predeceased in 1992). Loving mother of Milda (Algis, predeceased), Frank (Donna) and John (Grazina). Dear grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Also survived by relatives in Canada, Lithuania, USA and Argentina. She was a long time member of Our Lady of Mercy Parish where she sang in the choir for many years and enjoyed singing throughout her lifetime. A special thanks to the wonderful staff at Queens Garden for their compassion and care of Teresa in her final years. Visitation will be held at the Marlatt Funeral Home, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford Ave.), Hamilton, on Friday, September 22nd from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Rosary at the funeral home at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 58 Dundurn St. North, Hamilton on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. John’s Lithuanian Cemetery, Mississauga.
