TERESA SHIRLEY THOMPSON February 10, 1947 – August 12, 2016 Peacefully at the Trillium Health Partners Mississauga, surrounded by her family on Friday, August 12, 2016. Teresa was the beloved daughter of Alfred and Margaret Thompson (deceased). Loving sister to Anne Deoni (Joseph deceased), Rosemary Thompson, Barbara Cooney (Gerry deceased), Gerry Thompson (Judith) and Pauline Amirault (Gary). Predeceased by brother Greg (Barb). Teresa was the cherished aunt of Paul, Sharon, Mark and Sean Deoni, Jennifer and Julie Thompson, Martin and Justin Cooney, Kathlyn, Matthew, Andrew and Jonathon Thompson and Kyle and Joanna Amirault. Teresa loved to celebrate holidays and special events with her family and particularly looked forward to family gatherings. The cards that she sent to mark special occasions will be missed by all. Throughout her life Teresa’s faith sustained her, especially when facing difficulties. Teresa had an infectious laugh, a love of solitaire and a special place in her heart for children.
