MACLEOD, Timothy July 30, 1950 – June 25, 2017 Peacefully with nieces Tammy and Julie by his side, on Sunday, June 25, 2017 in his 67th year Tim went to heaven. Beloved husband of Colleen MacLeod (Mahar). Colleen was the light of Tim’s life – the most important person in his world. Every day of his life you knew that Colleen was always his girl and he loved her so very much. Dear brother to Joyce, Pat, Linda, Cheryl and Andrew. Predeceased by his brother Wayne MacLeod. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Grace MacLeod. Lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Janet MacLeod. Tim will be missed by many nieces, nephews cousins and friends. Tim belonged to Community Living since 1970, through them he worked at Arc Industries. He belonged to a bowling league for several years and won many trophies from Special Olympics. He loved to play pool and he enjoyed going to Hutches Fish and Chips. He will also be missed by his many friends at First Place. For several weeks he kept asking to go home – he’s home now with his mom, dad, brother Wayne and nephew Fred Pearce. Heaven must be a beautiful place. Many thanks to CCAC, Community Living and the General Hospital for their support and kindness. A special thank you to Don and Tammy Fletcher for taking care of Tim after his mother passed away. His niece Julie spent months at his bedside making him comfortable. So many people helped over the years including Amanda and Vanessa who made the difficult things a bit easier. Rest in Peace Godzilla, we will miss and love you forever. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. East (near James), on Tuesday from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery, Burlington.
