KITAGAWA, Toshio (Tosh) —
June 2, 1925 – February 19, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tosh Kitagawa on February 19, 2017. Tosh passed away peacefully after a long illness. Beloved husband of the late Iris (Iwasaki). Father of the late David (Kim Kidd) and survived by daughter Ellen (David Huff), son Stephen (Gail Kinoshita) and daughter Karen (Brian Froese). Cherished grandpa of Bryan and Kendra Huff, Matthew Kitagawa, Emmalene and Cole Kitagawa-Froese. Survived by his siblings Red, Sherry (Sam), Eiko (late Sam), Amy (Ben) and Toni (Eric). Predeceased by his brothers Yo (late Kou), Oki (Chickie), Sadao (Sue) and sister Kaz (late Shu).
Friends and family are invited to a visitation with the family on Friday, February 24th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Trull Funeral Home & Cremation Centre at 1111 Danforth Ave., Toronto (east of Donlands subway station).
A private service will be held on Saturday.
