TROY BEY BRAITHWAITE August 1968 – August 2016 Troy died unexpectedly of a heart attack on August 26, 2016. Son of Lorne and Josie Braithwaite. Husband of Byjonka (née Van Pelt) and father to Alec and Camille. Brother to Todd, Jodi and Travis. He was dearly loved and will be dearly missed. Troy spent most of his formative years in Thornhill, Ontario and loved playing hockey with the Thornhill Thunderbirds. After graduating from Thornlea Secondary School, he completed a business degree at Western and an MBA at Queen’s where he met his future wife. Together they lived in the Toronto area, spent a few years in Connecticut and for the past several years have made Calgary their home. Visitation will take place from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon on Friday, September 2nd at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Avenue, Markham. Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 noon.
