VACHERESSE, Jeanne D’Arc Peacefully at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 Jeanne D’Arc Gisele Vacheresse (nee Michaud) passed away at the age of 71 with her loving children by her side. Jeanne D’Arc was born on October 9, 1945 in Edmundston, New Brunswick. She was the 12th child of 18 born to the late Alcide Michaud and the late Marie Levesque. Adored mother of Maurice (Susan), Paul, Monique and five grandchildren Donna, Kevin, Klarissa, Emma and Cameron. Dear sister to Delcia, Lorraine, Yvonne, Ginette, Lise, Chantal and brothers Robert, Hermel, Adrien, Camille. Predeceased by siblings Guildor, Real, Alvetta, Rheo, Claire, Claudette and Berthier. Jeanne D’Arc was renowned for her love to laugh, her loyalty to her family and for her avid card playing. She will be lovingly missed by many nieces and nephews along with her many friends and fellow card players at Club 60 and Winona Seniors Club. The family’s deep appreciation goes to Dr. Sharon Russell, nursing staff from St. Joseph’s Home Care and a very special thanks to the staff at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for their warmth and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Ave. Dr., Stoney Creek, on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
