HART, Vanessa Christine With much sadness we announce the passing of Vanessa Hart in her 71st year on July 7, 2017. Mourning her death are: husband Jim Taylor, daughter Stephanie, sister Caroline, brother Martin, nieces Emily, Julia and Sheila, nephew Adam; and many cherished friends. Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Vanessa moved to Canada at age seven, growing up in Edmonton and Toronto where she graduated from North Toronto Collegiate Institute. She studied nursing in Barrie and enjoyed a fulfilling career, spending the last 15 years as a Public Health Nurse for the city of Toronto. After retirement she spent many years in Vancouver supporting her father. Regretfully, Vanessa died at too young an age from ovarian cancer. A celebration of Vanessa’s life will take place at Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Avenue West, Toronto, on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Ovarian Cancer Canada would be appreciated.
