KOVACS, Vera After a courageous battle with cancer, we sadly announce the passing of our mother Vera on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in her 85th year. Reunited in heaven with her husband Steve, daughter Veronica and sons-in-law Christiaan Veerman and Keith Sawyer. Loving mother of Steve (Tina) and Margaret. Cherished grandma of Kristina (Kevin), Christiaan (Heather), Natalie (Marco), Stephen (Rianne), Michael, Justin, Nicholas and Keith. Proud great-grandma of Kyle, Brandon, Mya, and Rocco. Dearly missed by special friend and companion Julius Palatics. Vera will be sadly missed by many friends and family in both Canada and Hungary. A heartfelt thank you to all the family and friends who supported us through this journey. To the staff at Regina Gardens LTC, thank you all so much for the dedicated and compassionate care of our mom. Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E. (near James St. N.) on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Vigil prayers Friday at 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will be offered in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, April 8 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington.
