MARION, Victoria Anita (nee Chernesky) Peacefully passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital on Sunday, September 3, 2017 in her 87th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Lionel for 67 wonderful years. Cherished mother of Roger and his wife Linda. Dear grandma of Jacquie. Survived by her sister Dora Komarniski. Predeceased by five sisters and three brothers. Vicky will be dearly missed by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Vicky is retired from Westinghouse. She will be remembered for her love of crafting, amazing cooking, her green thumb, love of animals and huge heart. She was a loving wife and devoted mother. She will be missed by all of those who knew and loved her. Visitation at the MARKEY – DERMODY FUNERAL HOME , 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer society would be appreciated.
