VICTOR WILFRED SLATER Victor passed away suddenly while doing what he loved, golfing, on Monday, August 8, 2016 at the age of 70 years. Beloved husband of Janet Slater, devoted father of Suzanne Victoria Slater (Wayne Barker) and adoring grandfather of Aidan and Haley. Dear friend of Rose Cudney (late Paul). Victor was a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University and Osgoode Hall Law School, York University where he obtained his law degree. After 40 years of service he retired his practice, Slater & Spiller L.L.P. He had a passion for golf and was a member of the Hunters Pointe Golf Club, a member of the Dunnville Gun Club and a former member of the Islington Gun Club. Victor will be lovingly remembered by those who knew him and his iconic “rants” will never be forgotten.
