Leila Violet VOS (nee Salzer)
VOS, Leila Violet (née Salzer) December 23, 1976 – August 20, 2016 Leila passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer in the early hours of Saturday, August 20, 2016. Surrounded by family and friends, Leila spent her final days comforting them. Reminding them if God would call her home, she was ready to go, saying I’m Ok. She spent her last days living, loving, and laughing with family, friends and holding her loving husband’s hand. Leila leaves behind her husband Martyn, parents Catherine and Eric Salzer, her grandmother Iris Salzer, sisters Emily (Eric) and Beth-Anne (Dominic). Parents in-law Willem and Tineke Vos, brothers-in-law Arjan (Sheri), Wilfred (Jenny Lynn) and Jerome (Lisa). Nieces and nephews Taylor, Justin, Jenna, Rachel and Hayley. Friends will be received at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 365 Queen Street East, Acton, on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Bethel Christian Reformed at 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Bethel CRC, Plan Canada or Halton Hills SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
