WARREN D. WILKINS Passed away peacefully on November 3, 2016 at the age of 88. Warren will be deeply missed by his wife Willy, sons Chris (Sonja), Doug (Louise) and Jeffrey (Jenn) and daughter Katie (Stephe) and his grandchildren Michael, Jessica, Kasper, Kailey, Maxwell, Marshall, Kieran and Maddox. Warren was predeceased by his first wife, Ann E. Wilkins and his brother Doug. He will also be missed by his nephews James and Hugh (Leanne). He is survived by his mother-in-law May Denreyer, brothers-in-law Frank, Sam and Michael and his sister-in-law Mary Ann. Warren was born in Toronto in 1928 to Stanley and Gertrude Wilkins, attended University of Toronto Schools and Trinity College. Always a keen traveller, he and his brother Doug drove around the world in a Land Rover in 1952 and visited and filmed many then remote places at a time before “adventure travel” was recognized. Warren and Willy continued that tradition by travelling to the far corners of the world over the last 24 years. Warren was an avid skier, sailor and enjoyed wet fly fishing. Warren was a printing industry leader and started a successful book printing company, Webcom Limited. He will be remembered for his sense of adventure, his passion, generosity and individuality. We will all miss his pranks and will remind ourselves that “rules are made to be broken”! A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, November 10th, from 2 – 5 p.m. at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Avenue West. The funeral service will be held at St. Clement’s Church, 70 St. Clements Ave., Toronto, on Friday, November 11th, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society
