WATTS, Doreen It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Doreen Watts (nee Nicholson) on Monday, August 1st in her 91st year. Loving and cherished wife to Raymond for 67 years. Devoted and loving mother to Michael (predeceased) and David. Mother-in-law to Madelyn and Shona. Beloved grandmother to Andrew and Nicholas. Loving daughter of John and Eva Nicholson (predeceased). Doreen will be sadly missed by both her long term friends and her neighbours of Glencarry Avenue. Doreen was born in Hamilton in 1926 and lived there all her life. She was a long time member of Coronation Park Baptist Church and later Pioneer Memorial Church. Always smiling with nothing but love in her heart, Doreen was a talented artist and enjoyed her later years with Ray at the cottage in Prince Edward County. A heartfelt and special thank you to all of her loving caregivers at Extendicare Hamilton. A cremation has taken place and memorial will be planned in the future. In lieu of flowers, Doreen would have appreciated a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the Ontario Humane Society.
