BEATTY, William (Bill) Passed away peacefully, with his beloved wife by his side on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, in his 88th year. Loving husband of Betty Beatty for 59 years. Cherished father of Mike Beatty (Kim) and Chris Beatty (Kelly). Proud Grandpa to Mary Beatty. Bill’s family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Lakeridge Health Oshawa’s Emergency, C7 and Critical Care Units for all of their care, kindness and compassion. Resting at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234), with memorial visitation to take place on Saturday, September 9th from 12:00 noon until time of memorial service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. A private family interment of Bill’s ashes will take place in Tweed at a later date.
