COSTELLO, William Edward John With his loving wife by his side at home on Monday, March 13, 2017 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Dorothy for over 66 years. Loving father of Billy (Lynda), Dennis (Betty), predeceased by his son Jerry (survived by wife Lori), and Kim MacNeil (John). Much loved Papa to Chris, Brandon (Ruth), Matthew and Jeffrey Bird, Caitlin and Gemma. Bill was a retired long term employee of Stelco (Canada Works), Royal Canadian Navy (Halifax); long term resident of the Polynesian Village, Englewood Florida. Bill loved to sing and enjoyed many years as a member of the chorus. Family and friends will be received at the MCCLEISTER FUNERAL HOME , 495 Park Rd. North, Brantford on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A Private Family Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Brant gratefully appreciated.
