William James PEACOCK

October 5, 1928 – March 22, 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of “Bill” Peacock. With his two sons on either side, Bill passed away unexpectedly on March 22, 2017. His presence will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him. He will be remembered by his siblings, Jack (Sheila), Pat (Bob) and Ruby (Ted). He will be missed most by his wife of 55 1/2 years, Audrey, sons Jim (Sara) and Brad (Kathleen) and grandchildren, Katelyn, Julia, Emily and Robert. Predeceased by grandson Wesley. He was a mild mannered, soft spoken gentleman who could fix anything. He was well known for his sparkplug airplanes. If you had any dealings with Bill, you were given one. Former group committee member and volunteer with the 10th Etobicoke Scout Troop. He is a former employee of the TTC (34 years) and GO Transit (10 years) as a bus mechanic. His greatest joys in life were the simple things; observing the moon, stars, birds, crossword puzzles, hunting and spending time at the cottage. A Celebration of Bill’s life will be held at the cottage, where his ashes will be scattered over all his favourite places.
