BOOTSMA, Wybe “Wilfred” Suddenly at home, on Saturday, June 24, 2017, our Lord called to Glory his son Wilfred Bootsma in his 67th year. Loving father of Susan (John), Paul (Jen), and Jeff (Holly). Cherished grandfather of Britney, Eric, Nathan, Dustin, Destiny and Alex. Dear brother of Harry (Paula), Pat (the late Dick) Mostert, infant twins (1939), Jack (the late Ankje), Bill (Gertie), Shirley (Dick) Rauwerda, Stuart (Jackie), Jessy, and Wendy (Rick) Verkerk. Wilfred will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews and extended family. A man who was happiest when fishing or spending time with family, he will always be fondly remembered for his love of living life to the fullest, his no-nonsense approach to conversation, and his warm, loving smile. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at ZION UNITED REFORMED CHURCH, 1238 Old Highway 8, Sheffield, where the Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. Rev. C. Heiberg officiating. Interment Mt. Zion Cemetery, Copetown.
