MARCHESE, GIUSEPPE “JOE” May 6, 1935 to January 10, 2019 Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, January 10, 2019.
Joe was a devoted husband to Brunina, loving father to Domenico, Maria (Drazen), Celia (Dominic), Saverio (Lisa) and Tony (Sandra), cherished Nonno to Michael, Robert, Joseph, Nadine, Matthew, Alexandra, Christopher, Samantha, Josephine, Emma and Daniel and beloved Bisnonno to Adriana, Valentina and Isabella.
If you were fortunate enough to have met Joe, you’ve likely been to his vegetable garden, watched him tear-up the dance floor, or been gifted one of his famous soppressatas. Joe loved making anyone who walked into his life happy – friends and strangers alike. Above all though, Joe was a family man. His wife, children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. We know he will be watching over us each and every day and we will miss him dearly.
A visitation will take place at Vescio Funeral Homes (8101 Weston Rd., Woodbridge), on Monday, January 14th from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and 6:00-9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church (100 Bainbridge Ave, Woodbridge), on Tuesday, January 15th at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (7300 Hwy. 27, Woodbridge).
