BRAGDON-WHIPPLE, Mary-Jane Mary-Jane Bragdon-Whipple rose up to the Spirit in the Sky and welcomed with open arms by many family members on April 6, 2019, in her 86th year, at the General Hospital.
Mary-Jane is survived by 6 children Kenna (Pete), Ed ( Sherry), Carl, Stanley (Judy), Anthoney (Michou), Kimberley (Danny), several grandchildren and great-grand- children, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, her brother Carl and her sister Wanda Matthews.
Mary-Jane was a strong independent woman who moved here from New Brunswick to attend McMaster University and successfully graduated with her degree in Social Work, specializing in Palliative Care.
Mary-Jane loved what she did and the people she worked with at VON for several years, she loved her church, St. Ann Church in Ancaster with Father Joseph and special thanks to Judy who came to see her every week for prayer circle and communion.
Mary-Jane will be loved and missed by so many she left behind. Till we meet again.
As per Mary-Jane’s request, there will be no formal funeral service with visitation.
