GOWANS, Constance Margaret (nee Lowrie) Constance Margaret (nee Lowrie)

GOWANS, Constance Margaret (nee Lowrie)April 12, 1928 – March 11, 2019 Roses in Heaven for our Mum on her Birthday.

If yellow roses grow in heaven Lord, Please pick a bunch for us. Please place them in our mum’s arms And tell her they are from us. Tell her that we love her, And when she turns to smile, Place a kiss upon her cheek And hold her for a while. Because remembering Mum is easy, We do it every day But there’s an ache in our heart that never goes away

Mum passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington on Monday, March 11, 2019 in her 91st year. The eldest of three children born to Thomas and Constance (nee Wilkins) Lowrie, at home, on Greenbank Rd. in Edinburgh, Scotland. Predeceased by her sister Jean Buchanan-Searle and brother John Lowrie. Beloved wife to Ronald B. Gowans (1928-2017) and son Stanley Douglas Gowans (1961- 2003). Loving Mum to Ronnie (Sylvia) of Acton, Ontario, Avril (Larry Sullivan) of Ottawa, Ontario and David (Margie) of Burlington, Ontario. Very proud grandmum to Joey, Nicole (Dan), Nevan (Melissa), Morgan, Jarrett and great-grandmum of Laurel and Spencer. Sister-in-law and good friend to Betty (nee Gowans) and the late Joe Ross and Doreen (nee Gowans) and the late Bill Toland. Cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Words cannot express our tremendous and most heartfelt thanks to the staff of CAMA WOODLANDS for the love, care and compassion provided to Mum during her time with you.

Dear Mum, Nothing can ever take away The love a heart holds dear Fond memories linger every day Remembrance keeps you near.
