PETER BOERSMA Passed away surrounded by those who loved him dearly on Sunday, February 19, 2017. Devoted husband of almost 46 years to Bernice (Beddington) Boersma. Loving father to Brian (Nicole) Boersma and Chandra (Ian) Boersma/Moore. An amazing Grumps to his grandchildren Brayden, Jakob, Nathan, Ethan and Zachary; all of whom he loved more than anything. He will be dearly missed by many family and friends. Family and friends are invited to visit at the McKERSIE – KOCHER FUNERAL HOME, 114 Main Street East, Milton, 905-878-4452, from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2017, followed by a Celebration of Peter’s life held at 2 p.m. in the McKERSIE – KOCHER FUNERAL HOME. Those attending are asked to dress in true Pete-style: in your favourite shirt, jeans and woolly socks. As expressions of sympathy, a donation in memory of Peter to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
