Peacefully passed away at St. Joseph’s Villa, Dundas with his wife Joyce at his side on August 7, 2020 in his 94th year. Also survived by daughter Terese (Shawn Cook) and granddaughter Jessica. Dear brother of Margaret (Jim) and Mary (Syd). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and other family members. Predeceased by parents George and Edith, brother John and niece Susan.
Reunited with lifelong buddies Bud, Les and Trevor. Jim was a Private in the Army in 1945 and then worked at Stelco as a Foreman in the Power and Electrical Department, Hilton Works for 44 years. After retirement, he was active in the Dundas Lions Club and volunteered at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum.
Funeral Service to be held at St. James Anglican Church, 137 Melville Street, Dundas on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 12 noon. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, attendance is by pre-registration only; please see the church website (stjamedundas.ca) for details. Public health guidelines in effect.
