Ralph Iorio

Ralph Iorio

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Ralph Iorio at home on July 24, 2021. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Berry) for 60 years, loving father of Vince and Theresa (nee Wilson), and cherished Nonno of Tyler, Nicole, and Nikki. He will be dearly missed by his sister Josephine and the late Raffaele Caputo, his niece Maria and the late David Ironberg, his great-nieces Angela, Erika and their families.

Much loved brother-in-law of Harold (Lenore) Berry, Audrey (Bryan) Cannon, Winnie (the late Walter) Doctor, the late Roland (Barbara) Berry, and the late Teddy (Marlene) Berry. Predeceased by Vern (Irene) Berry, Bill (Eileen) Berry, and Dorothy (Mel) Kerr. Ralph was a devoted parishioner of Regina Mundi parish and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He retired from Dofasco after 28 years of service. Ralph was a proud and dedicated member of Chedoke Bocce Club where he served as Vice President. He enjoyed playing bocce and gathering with fellow club members. Ralph will miss the “gang” at Westcliffe Mall where they enjoyed coffee and solving all the world’s problems. His passion was gardening, where he truly found peace and serenity.

Ralph was able to enjoy one last time in the garden just before his heavenly travel. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 7th at 10:00 a.m. at Regina Mundi Parish (631 Mohawk Road W). A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when COVID-19 restrictions have lifted. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Heart and Stoke Foundation or The MS Society Hamilton Chapter. Love you – See you on the other side. Rest in peace.
