Di Placido, Alberto Born in Torella del Sannio, Campobasso, Italy on September 26, 1934 and died in Maple, Ontario on March 31, 2019. With profound sadness the family of Alberto Di Placido announce his passing at the age of 84.
Beloved husband of Vincenza (nee Conte) for 57 years. Cherished father to Angelo (Nicole), Maria Assunta (Scott), Nicolina (Martin) and predeceased by his son Lucio. Doting grandpa to Michael, Stephanie, Robert and Joseph who were his pride and joy. Brother to Clemente (Elena), Nicola (Teresa), Mario (Carmela), Pasquale (Maria), Petronilla (Lorenzo), and Domenico (Filomena).
The family will receive friends at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora (905 727-5421) on Friday April 5, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15347 Yonge Street, Aurora on Saturday April 6, 2019 at 10am. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Highway 27, Woodbridge (south of Highway 407), where he will be laid to rest with his beloved son Lucio.
