AMERO, Florence Mary (June 12, 1941 – October 5, 2018) Florence passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton, at the age of 77. Predeceased by her husband Victor Amero, her life partner and best friend Bob Gauthier, and brothers Dick, Joe and Frank Strong. Much loved mother of David (Marion), Debbie (David), Darlene (Jason), and Ken (Brandy). She will be greatly missed by all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Jan (Leftie) and Don (Lauraine).
Florence was the founder of Christian Singles and a devout Christian. She will be fondly remembered by all those whose lives she touched with her friendship, kindness and prayers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at Circle of Life Cremation and Burial Centre, 100 King St. E., Dundas, ON (additional parking at the Air Force Club). Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Peoples Church, 510 Mohawk Road West, Hamilton, ON. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Reception to follow at Peoples Church.
